Organization
The Atmospheric Optics Group is part of the Marine Physical Laboratory, which specializes in experimental science, including such fields as underwater acoustic and seismic propagation, air-sea interaction, ocean volume dynamics and ocean bottom geophysics. MPL is part of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, which is part of the University of California, San Diego.
